On this labor day, some of our firefighters made use of the day off from their full time jobs to progress further on their drivers/pump training at Ashville Pond.
Our drivers training program requires knowledge of all equipment on the truck, complete numerous pumping/flowing water evolution's as well as operation of the truck safely on the roadways. Knowing how to navigate the truck to emergency scenes and successfully operating it is key.
