Hope Valley-Wyoming firefighters and surrounding local fire departments responded early on February 20, 2011 to a mulch fire at Richmond Sand and Gravel located on Stilson Road. The fire kept firefighters busy for several hours. HVWFD has responded to Richmond Sand and Gravel for mulch fires in the past. This fire was less severe than previous mulch fires.
