February 12, 2009

HVWFD responded to a string of calls related to the high winds on Thursday afternoon. All were related to a power outage due to high tension lines that were brought down by the wind on Main Street in Ashaway. The attached pictures are from a structure fire on Main Street in which The Ashaway Fire Department requested Mutual Aid. The fire was believed to have started by an electrical problem in a wall.

Units: Car 901, Engines 912 & 913, Special Hazards 900
