Members worked through Chlorine props to stop leaks, deployed and set up a scene, reviewed some of the new equipment and conducted suit testing. Thank you to our dedicated volunteers for always stepping up to refresh, update and learn new skills to make the team even better.
Hope Valley hazmat is one of a handful of hazardous materials teams in the state and is the only volunteer team. If this is something that interests you, we are always looking for new members. There are numerous tasks that do not require going down range that are necessary and can use your help. DM this page or stop at the station for an application. Hazmat operations or technician is helpful but training opportunity’s for both are available.
