Pursuant to “An Act Creating the HOPE VALLEY/WYOMING FIRE DISTRICT”, Article III of Chapter 171 of the Rhode Island Public Laws, 1982, as amended, the Board of Directors of the HOPE VALLEY/WYOMING FIRE DISTRICT, you are hereby notified that the Annual Meeting of the HOPE VALLEY/WYOMING FIRE DISTRICT will be held at:

AT 7:00 P.M.

THE MEETING IS TO BE HELD FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES:

To hold elections, to order a tax to be levied and assessed on the ratable property of said Fire District and the inhabitants thereof, to act on a budget and to appropriate funds for the Fire District’s debts arising within said Fire District, to authorize the borrowing of money, to authorize the lease and/or purchase of new equipment, and to transact such other business as may legally come before the said meeting.

In accordance with the Charter, in order to vote, all registered voters who live within the district or is a taxpayer to the Hope Valley/Wyoming Fire District is eligible. No corporation, any stockholder or officer thereof or any executor, administrator or trustee or any other person acting in a fiduciary capacity shall be ineligible to vote.
