The Hope Valley-Wyoming Fire District would like to congratulate Firefighter Joshua Dumas for completing his Firefighter I class. The Firefighter I class consists of over 100 hours of classroom and practical instruction and is taught by the RI Fire Academy. Some of the class topics included: firefighter safety, fire behavior, ropes and knots, and search and rescue. Josh got to put his skills to the test with 24 hours of hands on training at the academies training grounds in Exeter, including a live fire evolution. We would like to thank Josh for his hard work and dedication to the Department. Also a big thank you to his family Beth, Tyler, and Jada we are sure you missed him those many nights and weekend he was in class!
