Canoe Rescue in Woodville

On Wednsday morning around 11:00 am Westerly Dispatch recieved a call about a canoe flipped over at the Woodville dam , upon arrival of car 901 it was determined that there was nobody with the canoe and it had broken loose from its morin up river . Car 901 then determined that the canoe needed to be removed to prevent somebody from trying to go in after the canoe , Captain David Dumsar and Captain Justin Lee put the new inflatable raft in to service and retrieved the canoe without incident.

Units: Car 901 , Special Hazards 900 and Service 920 w/ boats
