March 15, 2019

It was evening for HVWFD and our local neighbors for multiple reports of structure fires at 2 locations caused by lightning strikes from the pop up thunderstorm. While lightning did damage one home, no active fire was found at either location. National Grid was requested to the scene due to electrical damage. Crews also investigated an odor of propane from the same address which was also linked to the lightning strike.
