This afternoon Hope Valley and Carolina fire departments with Hope Valley Ambulance were dispatched to the Carolina Management Area on Pine Hill Road for a person who fell off a horse approximately one mile into the woods. Fire and EMS units were able to quickly locate and remove the patient from the woods. No patient information is available per HIPAA privacy laws.
