At 7:00 PM Sunday night the Hope Valley-Wyoming Haz-Mat team was dispatched to Carolina Nooseneck Rd in Richmond, to assist the Richmond-Carolina Fire District, and Hope Valley Ambulance in identifying a possible chemical mixture. Members of the Haz-Mat team suited up in protective gear and went down range with meters to try and identify the mixture. No hazardous materials were found but this incident provided a great scenario for our team members learn from.
